Christine Lai, MD, is a Clinical Instructor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and an Attending Physician at Mount Sinai Queens. She received her medical degree from New York Medical College and went on to complete a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Mount Sinai Beth Israel.

Dr. Lai specializes in primary care women’s health services and obstetrics, as well as obstetrical and gynecologic surgical procedures. She performs vaginal deliveries, caesarean section, colposcopy, laparoscopy, removal of ovarian cysts and fibroids, screening for gynecologic cancers and treatment of menstrual irregularities and pelvic pain. She also provides family planning services including intrauterine device insertion, female sterilization and other birth control options as well as services for unwanted or abnormal pregnancies. Dr. Lai values the role she has in caring for her patients in their reproductive years and beyond.
