This 2nd Spanish language edition of the book: “One port laparoscopy surgery and Culdolaparoscopy, Scarless Surgery”. This publication includes videos.  The book is due in part to new developments in one port laparoscopy surgery (1PLS) through the umbilicus performed with an operative laparoscope with a working channel.  There are new chapters on choledocholithiasis and antireflux surgery, among others.  We have evolved the 1PLS technique for a wide field of indications.  We developed new levels of Culdolaparoscopy, a transvaginal natural orifice surgery by its creator, Dr. Daniel Tsin.  The contribution for the use of neodymium magnets was done by Dr. Guillermo Dominguez. The authors presented new concepts and instruments for Minilaparoscopy, Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery (NOTES), and different techniques performed through the umbilicus (TUES, SPA, SILS, NOTUS), as well as new technologies in flexible endoscopy.

This is a fairly complete picture of how to successfully perform scarless surgery.  One of the highlights of the book is the creativity of the authors, who use common materials to design new tools useful for their purposes, and therein lies much of the credit for this work.  Not only have they been able to innovate on their surgeries, but they show what can be done in the pursuit of surgical excellence. This is doubly important, as it shows that these economically affordable techniques can achieve operations with safety, fewer hernias than traditional laparoscopy, and better cosmetic results.  This book is for surgeons, gynecologist and urologists who are looking to go beyond traditional laparoscopy.
