David S Pertsemlidis, MD

Born and raised in Manhattan, Dr. Pertsemlidis attended the Dalton School and Princeton University, graduating magna cum laude with a degree in American history. After attending the New York University School of Medicine, he completed his residency in general surgery at the New York University Medical Center. He has published several book chapters on laparoscopic, pancreatic, and adrenal surgery, most recently in a comprehensive endocrine surgery textbook. His practice includes laparoscopic and general surgery with a focus on the endocrine system, the gallbladder and bile ducts, gastric and colon cancer, the gastrointestinal organs, and abdominal wall hernias. He is currently Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Assistant Attending of Surgery at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Pertsemlidis is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
