Ira Drescher, MD

Dr. Drescher has over 30 years experience practicing Emergency Medicine. He has been at Mt Sinai Beth Israel for the past 25 years, and is very satisfied with his position there. He currently works exclusively night shifts.
He enjoys working with, and supervising residents. He is certified in Emergency Department Ultrasound and is working on improving his medical Spanish.
He is especially interested in performing painless shoulder reductions, and has, on rare occasion, been called the “shoulder whisperer”
He currently lives in Putnam County with his wife, 2 teenage children and their 4 adorable cats.
