Dr. Unsup Kim is Chief of Surgery at Elmhurst Hospital Center and Professor of Surgery of Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He received his MD degree from Seoul National University College of Medicine in Seoul, Korea in 1959. He came to the U.S.A. in 1967 and completed his surgical training at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in 1972.

Dr. Kim is recipient of many teaching awards from surgical residents and medical students. Dr. Kim's expertise is in the area of hepatobiliary, gastrointestinal surgery and trauma. He is a member of many local and national medical societies, and has published in the area of hepatobiliary and gastrointestinal surgery.
